29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)    On or about February 22, 2018 at 1950 Adam Acres Drive in Buford, Georgia; employees performing roofing work were exposed to chemical hazards associated with the use of gasoline and "Peak Building Products" all weather roofing & construction sealant where the employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.9(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v):  (Construction Reference: 1926.59)    On or about February 22, 2018 at 1950 Adam Acres Drive in Buford, Georgia; employees performing roofing work were exposed to chemical hazards where gasoline was stored in and dispensed from a 5 gallon, blue plastic container provided by the employer which was labeled "Kerosene".    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.9(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
