29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) At the jobsite located at approximately 21 South 13th Street Philadelphia, PA: Employer did not ensure employees wore eye protection, thus exposing employees to eye hazards. Employees working on the street did not wear eye protection while operating a Stihl TS420 handheld power saw to cut the sidewalk.   This condition was observed/noted on/about 09 MAR 2018.

29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1):  Construction areas shall be posted with legible traffic signs at points of hazard:  a) Jobsite located in the roadway approximately at 21 South 13th Street Philadelphia PA: The employer did not ensure that employees working in the roadway had adequate signage to alert oncoming traffic through 13th Street of upcoming construction; thus exposing employees to struck by hazards.   This condition was observed/noted on or about 09 MAR 2018.
