29 CFR 1910.25(b)(3): The employer did not ensure that the stairs had uniform riser heights and tread depths between the landings. On 3/21/18, in the Sausage Kitchen, at the 5000 Line stairs, stairs did not have uniform risers and the heights varied between 8.25 and 13.6 inches between risers on the platform stairs. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.25(c)(4): On standard stairs there was not a minimum width of 22 inches (56 cm) between vertical barriers (see Figure D-8 of this section). On 3/21/18, in the Sausage kitchen at the platform stairs, stairway widths ranged from 17" to 19" inches. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
