29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s): a) BOF Mill, 2nd Level - On or about June 1, 2018, the Caterpillar sit-down forklift truck (serial no. AT14G00425) was not kept in a safe working condition. The emergency brake was defective, thereby exposing employees to struck-by and crushing hazards associated with a moving forklift truck.
