OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that:    Employees are exposed to a tripping hazard due to a steel cable (fall protection lifeline) running approximately eleven (11) inches above the fixed ladder and the top of the cab when gaining access to the CR 137 crane.     One  acceptable means of abatement is to restrict access to the runway by use of a barricade tape and signage and the establishment of a mandatory procedure, with appropriate training, to be utilized by all employees accessing this crane.
