29 CFR 1910.178(n)(4): The driver shall be required to slow down and sound the horn at cross aisles and other locations where vision is obstructed. If the load being carried obstructs forward view, the driver shall be required to travel with the load trailing. 1) Worksite, Loading dock 8: Employee whose duties include operating forklifts shall be required to sound the horn where vision is obstructed; on or about 3/23/18. In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to provide abatement documentation for this item as required by 1903.19.
