29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard that the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area. Information and training was not designed to cover all applicable categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals:    a) On or about March 14, 2018, employees working in the Filter Department were not provided training on the health hazards of chemicals, including HD 26-P, a degreaser composed of sodium hydroxide and carbonic acid, and CCC-29, a caustic powder composed of silicic acid and sodium sesquicarbonate, in their workplace.
