29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, were not taken out of service until it has been restored to safe operating condition: a) Production Area - On March 27, 2018, the employer did not ensure the Toyota forklift model #SFBE 15, serial #23310, was removed from service when the back rest for the load was damaged. b) Production Area - On March 27, 2018, the employer did not ensure the Yale forklift model #ERC060GHN361E076, serial #A908N01684C, was removed from service when the back rest for the load was damaged.
