29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings shall be effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. On March 26, 2018, the east side of fabrication building had an uncovered unused opening exposing employees to a burn/shock hazard in that this panel is used to turn on/off lights. The Briar Hill Stone Company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1130516, citation number 1, item number 6, issued on May 13, 2016 and was affirmed as a final order on June 9, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 744 McDermott Rushtown Rd, McDermott OH.
