29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  (a) New residential construction located on Lot #75, Rear Roof: On or about 04/04/2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nail guns at 120 PSI, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in plywood sheathing installation. Employees operating these tools were exposed to struck-by hazards which included plastic collated fragments, wood debris and 3-inch fasteners.  (b) New residential construction located on Lot #75, West gable wall: On or about 04/04/2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nail guns at 120 PSI, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in plywood sheathing installation. Employees operating these tools were exposed to struck-by hazards which included plastic collated fragments, wood debris and 3-inch fasteners.
