29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): (a) Jobsite: On or about April 5, 2018, two employees were working in excavation that was not shored nor sloped. The excavation was up to approximately 6 feet in depth. The Sciarretti Site Development & Paving Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1072633, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/20/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2501 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
