29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(8)(ii): For removing roofing material which contains ACM the employer did not ensure that the following work practices were followed: (a) On or about April 2, 2018, at the above addressed job site, the employer did not ensure that appropriate work practices were followed for removing roofing material as required, such as: 1. Roofing material shall be removed in an intact state to the extent feasible. 2. Wet methods shall be used to remove roofing materials that are not intact. 3. Cutting machines shall be continuously misted during use. 4. While using a power roof cutter, all dust resulting from cutting operations shall be collected by a HEPA dust collector, or shall be HEPA vacuumed by vacuuming along the cut line. 5. Asbestos-containing material that has removed from a roof shall not be dropped or thrown to the ground. Employees used a reciprocating saw to cut the built up roof, thereby exposing employees to hazards associated with asbestos.

On or about April 2, 2018, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were performing roofing operations which contained asbestos, and the employer did not notify employees of the presence, location and quantity of ACM or PACM, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with asbestos.
