29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Waldameer Park, Inc. / 220 Peninsula Dr, Erie, PA: On or about April 12, 2018 and times prior thereto, the JET metal cutting bandsaw model HVBS-461 in the maintenance shop welding area was not provided with a guard to protect the unused portion of the saw blade.
