29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: On or about April 10, 2018, at a new building construction site, employees were allowed to use stairs rising more than six (6) feet above the ground, without hand rails erected along the open side. The employees were exposed to the hazard of falls.
