29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s performing framing work are not protected from fall hazards the use of a fall protection system: a) The employer fails to ensure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about April 12, 2018, at 8966 Caraway Lane, Montgomery, Alabama, when employees performing framing activities from the top of framed walls, without the use of conventional fall protection, were exposed to a fall hazard of up to 21 feet 9 inches to the concrete floor below. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that all employees wear appropriate fall protection or install safety net system when an employee works 6 feet or more above a lower level.
