29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(1): The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI): (a) Lockheed Martin at 309 Building 674, Hill Air Force Base, UT: On and around April 24, 2018, the employer did not determine the 8-hour time weighted average exposure of each employee exposed to chromium (VI). Two employees, working in a ventilated booth and conducting sanding operations on aircrafts, were exposed to chromium (VI) at a concentration greater than the 8 hour time weighted average Action Level of 0.0025 mg/m3. The employees were exposed to chromium (VI) at concentrations of 0.0047 mg/m3 and 0.0035 mg/m3. This condition exposed the employees to airborne chromium (VI) hazards.
