29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about 11 April 2018 - Screen Coating Line, employees were exposed to in going nip point hazards created by the rollers while operating an E-Coat Machine. b) On or about 11 April 2018 - Screen Coating Line, employees were exposed to an unguarded shaft between the take-up reel and the power transmission pulley housing on the left side of the E-Coat Machine between the operator control panel and a pneumatic take-up bar tensioner handle.
