29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about April 18, 2018, employees performing residential siding installation were exposed to struck by hazards when employees worked on two different levels when the employer failed to mandate the use of hard hats. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i): Each employee on a boatswains' chair, catenary scaffold, float scaffold, needle beam scaffold, or ladder jack scaffold shall be protected by a personal fall arrest system; On or about April 18, 2018, employees performing siding installation from a ladder jack scaffold on a single-family property were exposed to a 13.5 foot fall when the employer failed to ensure that fall protection was utilized. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
