29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Exterior Front: Two employees engaged in residential roof work via the installation of siding material were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet above the ground surface, without the use of a personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection, on or about 4/23/18. The Hackensack Roofing Co., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1188195, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/26/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 297 Carlton Ave. East Rutherford, NJ 07073. The Hackensack Roofing Co., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 985146, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/04/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 449 Lasalle Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604.
