29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(iii)(b): During hoisting, the load contacted obstructions: (a) On or about April 23, 2018, the employer did not ensure that AARD Wolf below-the-hook lifting device(s) attached to the GH hoist were prevented from becoming caught on the upper portion of an A-frame rack used for securement of quartz and granite slabs. When caught, the gravity clamp can cause the slab to shift forward and out of the racking system. This exposed the operator to a struck by and crushing hazard.
