29 CFR 1926.501(b)(12): Each employee engaged in the erection of precast concrete members (including, but not limited to the erection of wall panels, columns, beams, and floor and roof "tees") and related operations such as grouting of precast concrete members, who is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: location: upper level on or about: 4/23/18 a) Employees engaged in precast construction activities were not protected from falling. The employees were exposed to a fall of 14'8". Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to provide abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19 The Metro Employers Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(12), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1271964, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/09/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1520 Story Ave., Bronx, NY 10473.
