29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee working on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Jobsite: The employee engaged in roofing activities on the 6 in 12 high pitch residential roof with an eve height of approximately 13 feet 3 inches above the ground was not protected from fall hazards by the use of guardrail systems, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about May 4, 2018, the employee fell approximately 13 feet 3 inches to the ground while performing the above tasks, and sustained a minor injury from the incident.
