29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) AAA Waterproofing Front Range at 560 13th St., Boulder, CO 80304: On or before May 8, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury when accessing balconies, in that extension ladder side rails extended 1 feet to 1.5 feet above the balcony. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet.
