29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure: (a) Bueno's Roofing, Remodeling & Exteriors, at 2780 Moorhead Avenue, Boulder, CO: On 5/15/18 the employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Employees were re-roofing a 6/12 pitch roof of a three story tall apartment complex. Approximately three employees were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This condition exposed the employees to approximate twenty and thirty-five foot fall hazards. Bueno's Roofing, Remodeling & Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection 1154197, Citation 1, Item 2 and was issued on 7/12/2016, and affirmed as a final order on 9/14/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 7431 Webster Street, Arvada, CO. Bueno's Roofing, Remodeling & Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection 1185476, Citation 1, Item 2 and was issued on 11/10/2016, and affirmed as a final order on 11/28/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5316 Rose Ridge Lane, Colorado Springs, CO.
