29 CFR 1926.451(c)(1)(ii): 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(1)(ii): Supported scaffolds with a height to base width ratio of more than four to one (4:1) were not restrained from tipping by installing guys, ties, and braces at each end of the scaffold and/or at horizontal intervals not to exceed 30 feet (9.1 m): a) On or about 05/15/2018, at 4754 Clark Ave, Sarasota, FL 34233, scaffolding was erected with a height to width ratio of approximately 5.7:1 and was not tied into the adjacent building structure. employees working on the scaffolding were exposed to hazards associated with the scaffold collapsing since it was not tied into the building structure.
