OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:      a) Warehouse:  Employees stored and retrieved records from a Wireway Husky metal storage rack system throughout the warehouse which had damaged bottom columns and cross braces. Employees were exposed to struck-by and crushed-by hazards in the event of a metal storage rack system collapse, as observed on or about June 1, 2018.                              ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.      EDM Americas, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of the OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 981063, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 3, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 4th St./Pacific Ave., West Pittston, PA 18643.
