29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(i): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, shall be guarded. The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefore, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: On May 17, 2018, and times prior thereto, in the manufacturing department, Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the BMC, Setting Machine, Model Number: 1845, Serial Number: 1845.143 were not guarded by enclosures or guarding methods to prevent entry into the point of operation.
