29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment: a) Crown Well Services LLC at Crossroads and County Road 15, Windsor, CO 80550: On or before June 7, 2018 the employer failed to assess the workplace to determine all of the hazards that are present, or likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment. Employees are exposed to Benzene, Hydrogen Sulfide, and other hazardous chemicals from completing the oil well, flowback tanks, and liquid hauling trucks on location. Employees were seen working on location without the use of personal monitoring equipment that would alarm them when they are being exposed. This exposes employees to inhalation hazards related to hydrogen sulfide gas and other hazardous chemicals.
