29 CFR 1910.132(c): Personal protective equipment was not of safe design and construction for the work to be performed: 30 liter polishers, US Tsubaki, 106 Lonczak Dr., Chicopee, Massachusetts; On and before June 18, 2018, employees operating the 30 liter polishers were provided aprons for splash protection and the aprons did not cover their legs. Polisher operator's legs and feet were exposed to a burn hazard from the hot fluid, up to 220 degrees Fahrenheit, when opening relief valves and opening the top of the polishers.
