29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers was not provided, used, and/or maintained:     On or about June 13, 2018, the employer did not provide and require employees to wear heat resistant sleeves when exposed to hot metal parts coming out of the oven on the large powder coating line.     Springco Metal Coating, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.132(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1183425, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/3/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 12500 Elmwood Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio 44111.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify that the required workplace hazard assessment has been performed through a written certification that identifies the workplace evaluated, the person certifying that the evaluation has been performed, the date(s) of the hazard assessment, and which identifies the document as a certification of hazard assessment:   On or about June 20, 2018, the workplace hazard assessment had not been put in writing and certified with the person conducting the evaluation and the dates the hazard assessment was completed for the large line. Safety glasses and gloves required when removing hot parts from the large line.
