29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings shall be protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter shall be effectively closed. (a) On or about June 27, 2018 in the mixing area, an outlet box that the mixer was plugged into was found with its electrical conductors not fully encased in the conduit and not protected from abrasions exposing employees to an electrical hazard. Cates Cast Stone Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1296733, citation number 1, item number 6a and was affirmed as a final order on May 18, 2018 with respect to a workplace located at 12783 FM 346 East, Whitehouse, TX 75793.
