When the employer has reason to believe that any affected employee who has already been trained does not have the understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section, the employer shall retrain each such employee. a. On or about July 5, 2018 2 employees were installing new roof shingles on a new residential dwelling and were not protected by any means of personal fall protection, guardrails or safety nets exposing them to falls in excess of 10 feet to the ground below.
