29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavation: On or about 6/28/18; Location: Excavation site on the street at Loxahatchee River Road Int. Roebuck Road 1) Two employees were exposed to struck by hazard while working inside an excavation approximately 5 feet deep not provided with any protection to prevent and keep spoil pile materials and equipment at least 2 feet from the edge of excavation. The spoil pile was observed to be less than 1ft away from the edge of the excavation.

Roebuck Rd. 1) Two employees were exposed while working inside a C-type soil excavation approximately 5feet deep tying up an older irrigation water pipe to a new pipe not provided with adequate protective system to prevent from cave-ins.
