29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: Instance #1: On or about 07-16-2018 and times prior thereto, located at CAPPS Boatworks, Inc.; 2102 Great Neck Road. Virginia Beach, VA 23451: Employee(s) were exposed to fire hazards and live electrical parts due to missing knockouts on a 110 volt 4-way outlet receptacle box located inside the metal connex box being used as a workshop. Instance #2: On or about 07-16-2018 and times prior thereto, located at CAPPS Boatworks, Inc.; 2102 Great Neck Road. Virginia Beach, VA 23451: Employee(s) were exposed to fire hazards and live electrical parts due to a missing knockout on an exterior mounted 110 volt 4-way receptacle box located beside the floating pier access ramp. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Flexible cords and cables were used where run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors; On or about 07-16-2018 and times prior thereto, located at CAPPS Boatworks, Inc.; 2102 Great Neck Road. Virginia Beach, VA 23451: Employee(s) were exposed to fire hazards and potential electrical contact from unprotected electrical wiring run directly through the floor of a metal connex box being used as a fixed workshop to feed a 110 volt 4 way electrical receptacle. The electrical wire was resting against the metal frame of the connex box structure itself. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
