29 CFR 1910.219(c)(3): Vertical or inclined shafting seven -7 feet or less from floor or working platform was not enclosed with stationary casing(s): On or about July 13, 2018, the employer failed to ensure that employees were protected from moving and rotating parts of the mixing machines vertical shaft. To include but not limited to Line/Machine P5 Emco Mixer, serial #LA-765. Employees were exposed to the mixers vertical shaft which was rotating at speeds above 700 rpms. The shaft has at least a 3 inch portion of it that is unguarded.
