29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Building 50, Nast Road, Morristown, NJ and at the Corporate Offices at 607 Chandler Avenue, Roselle, NJ. Employee was exposed to injuries from falls as the employer had not provided his employees a training program on how to recognize and minimize fall hazards for those that work at heights. Violation observed on or about 07/21/2018.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Building 50, Nast Road, Morristown, NJ. Employee was exposed to falls of 14' from the 6:12 sloped roof to the ground below as fall protection devices or methods were not being utilized during metal roofing activity. Violation observed on or about 07/21/2018. The JLG Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1087375, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/08/2018, with respect to a workplace located at The Orchards at Monroe, 33 Saratoga Lane, Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
