29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed:    a) CoPk-1, Clarity Room, 4135 Birney Avenue, Moosic, PA  On a daily basis, employees filled trays on the conveyor section of an Ameripak Model 245 Tray Sealer (Serial No. 234) driven by a chain and sprocket system thirty-four (34) inches above the floor that was not fully enclosed on the left side of the machine (facing feed end to discharge end) exposing employees to an in-running nip point and caught-in hazard, as observed on or about July 19, 2018.    b) CoPk-2, Clarity Room, 4135 Birney Avenue, Moosic, PA  On at least a weekly basis, employees filled trays on the conveyor section of a DAK Corporation Model 954123 Packaging Machine (Serial No. 175200) driven by a chain and sprocket system thirty-four (34) inches above the floor that was not enclosed on the right or left side of the machine exposing employees to in-running nip points and caught-in hazard, on or about July 19, 2018.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required for this violation.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required for this violation.
