OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Emergency Exit #8, Springs Department, 1214 Morea Road, Barnesville, PA - Employees stored and retrieved materials from an orange metal storage rack system that had a bent and damaged cross brace exposing employees to struck-by and crushed-by hazards in the event of a metal storage rack system collapse, as observed on or about July 23, 2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a) Wood Shop, 1214 Morea Road, Barnesville, PA - Employees used a Magic Chef Countertop Microwave Model MCD1611W plugged into an uninstalled flush receptacle that was not used or installed in accordance with its UL listing (RTRT) exposing employees to a contact with electrical current hazard, as observed on or about July 23, 2018. b) Matt Build and Tape Department, 1214 Morea Road, Barnesville, PA - Employees used a Sunbeam Countertop Microwave Model SGB8901 and a Dayton Commercial Pedestal-Mounted Air Circulator Model 1RWB5 that were plugged into a power strip that was not used or installed in accordance with its UL listing (XBYS) and "daisy chained" to an extension cord exposing employees to a contact with electrical current hazard, as observed on or about July 23, 2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required for this violation.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required for this violation.
