29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces were inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition:    a)  Aluminum Baler, on or about 7/25/18:  Work platform for the aluminum baler was not maintained in a safe condition in that a pallet with rubber mat was placed on top of the platform to raise the work level.  The pallet was twisted out of position and the rubber mat was sliding off the pallet.  Employees exposed to a fall hazard.    Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:    a)  Keg Cooler,  on or about 7/25/18:  The exit door from the cooler to the warehouse was blocked by pallets of kegs and the exit side of the door into the warehouse was blocked by pallets of water bottles.    b)  Sam Adams corner, on or about 7/25/18:  Means of egress was blocked by containers of trash and pallets of product.    c)  Liquor Room, on or about 7/25/18:  The exit door from the liquor room to the warehouse was blocked by trash containers and the exit side of the door into the warehouse was blocked by pallets of beer.    The Spirit & Sanzone Distributors Co., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number  989937, citation number  1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 10/23/14, with respect to a workplace located at 6495 Fly Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

The Spirit & Sanzone Distributors Co., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard,  which was contained in OSHA inspection number 989937, citation number 1, item number 3b and was affirmed as a final order on 10/23/14, with respect to a work place located at 6495 Fly Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
