29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: The employer is failing to ensure that all employees exposed to fall hazards while working on a residential roof are utilizing fall protection. This most recently occurred on August 1, 2018 on the jobsite located at 2552 186th Circle, Omaha, NE 68130. Seven employees were re-roofing an existing two-story house. The roof has a six in twelve steep sloped pitch at heights greater than six feet above the ground. JP Roofing, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1301947, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 24, 2018 with respect to a workplace located at 2108 S. 209th St, Elkhorn, NE 68022.
