29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, or personal fall arrest systems: The employer is failing to ensure employees are protected from fall hazards when conducting installation of plywood sheeting as part of the framing operation of the new home. This was most recently documented at the job site located at 184th Terrace Omaha, Nebraska on or about July 30th, 2018 when the employer had employees working on the roof of this residence without any form of protective system. Workers were observed installing plywood sheeting on a residential style construction site (house) without utilizing fall protection. The workers were exposed to falls of over 21 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: The employer is failing to provide employees with adequate and effective fall protection training prior to allowing them to work on a residential style roof. This was most recently documented at the job site located on 184th Terrace, Omaha, Nebraska on or about July 30, 2018 when the employer had employees working on the roof of this residence without any form of protective system and had not provided any training to them. Workers were observed installing sheeting on a residential style construction site (house) without utilizing fall protection. The workers were exposed to falls of over 21 feet to dirt and concrete below.
