29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): 82 Fowler Road, Westfield, MA: On or about August 3, 2018 employees engaged in residential construction were exposed to falls greater than 6 feet while rough framing and installing siding on a single family dwelling and were not protected from falls by guardrail systems, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Roof, Employee observed working from roof exposed to falls greater than 11 feet. (b) First floor, Floor hole, Employees working at or near floor hole leading to basement with falls greater than 8 feet. (c) Stairs, Employees walking up and down stairs to install framing members and stairs did not have mid rails. (d) Wall opening, Employees working around and near wall openings with fall height greater than 6 feet without guard rails installed or PFAS in use.
