29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: On or about August 9, 2018, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard in excess of 9 feet, and the employees lanyard was attached to a length of rope that would not limit his free fall to six feet or less, on a residential construction site in Champaign, Illinois.
