Paint Room - On or about August 9, 2018, An employee is exposed to burn hazards from the ignition of flammable vapors while spray painting.  Paint is conducted within 64 inches of a standard electrical outlet and other spark producing equipment including a large wall fan.

29 CFR 1910.126(f)(3): The employer did not provide an automatic fire extinguishing system or substitute a cover that that is closed by an approved automatic device for the automatic fire extinguishing system:  a. Paint Shop - On August 9, 2018, The employees operating a parts cleaning diptank were exposed to a fire hazard while using a Category 4 flammable liquid to clean parts.  The automatically closing lid was tied to a pipe, defeating its ability to close in case of a fire.
