29 CFR 1926.97(c)(2)(vii): Protector gloves shall be worn over insulating gloves: On or about August 4th, 2018, at the jobsite located at 3007 Yamato Rd. Corner of St. Andrew Blvd. Boca Raton, FL 33434, the employer failed to maintain in serviceable condition outer leather gloves used in combination with inner insulating gloves while an employee worked with an energized line, thus exposing the workers to an electrocution hazard. NOTE: ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.

29 CFR 1926.960(c)(1)(iii)(A): Employees were not insulated from energized parts through the use of rubber insulating gloves or rubber insulating gloves and sleeves worn in accordance with paragraph (c)(2) of this section: On or about August 4th, 2018, at the jobsite located at 3007 Yamato Rd. Corner of St. Andrew Blvd. Boca Raton, FL 33434, on a new installed wooden Pole # 769938508, the employer failed to ensure an employee used serviceable outer protector gloves with inner dielectric gloves to maintain a minimum approach distance of 3.71 feet while pulling a live electrical wire of 76.2KV, thus exposing the worker to an electrocution hazard. NOTE: ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
