29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s Nonferrous Dept.: The point of operation of the Gensco DTX 600 Hydraulic Shear was not adequately guarded. A worker was injured. The Mid-City Scrap Iron and Salvage Co. Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29CFR1910.212(a)(3)(ii) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1108462, Citation 1, Item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 18, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 548 State Road, Westport, Massachusetts.
