29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. On or about August 16, 2018 at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was using a pneumatic nail gun and was not wearing safety glasses, thereby exposing the employee to hazards associated with eye injuries. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about August 16, 2018 at the above addressed jobsite, employees were performing roofing operations approximately 12 feet above the ground and were not using fall protection, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
