29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): (1) Unprotected sides and edges.  (i) Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following:      Nonferrous Conveyor, Outside Yard:    1) A worker was exposed to a fall of 6 feet 1 inch (73 inches) from a forklift, while clearing a jam at the conveyor belt which is ten feet high.    2) Workers are exposed to a fall in excess of 6 feet, when they climb on a heavy metal collection container and a steel plate to access the conveyor belt.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:    Outside, Nonferrous Conveyor Belt:    Access to the disconnect box of the nonferrous conveyor belt was blocked by scrap metal.   AND,  Employees trying to access the disconnect box are exposed to scrap falling from the conveyor above.

The Excel Recycling, LLC  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR1910.147(c)(4)(I), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1339974, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 31, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 37 Charlotte White Road, Westport, Massachusetts.
