(i) Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following: Nonferrous Conveyor, Outside Yard: 1) A worker was exposed to a fall of 6 feet 1 inch (73 inches) from a forklift, while clearing a jam at the conveyor belt which is ten feet high. 2) Workers are exposed to a fall in excess of 6 feet, when they climb on a heavy metal collection container and a steel plate to access the conveyor belt.
