29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): (a) On or about August 18, 2018, HEB Roofing & Restoration, as the controlling employer, did not maintain an effective program which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment by a competent person. Employees of Melquisedec Gutters, a subcontractor, were exposed to fall hazards of up to 20 feet while conducting gutter installation activities without any fall protection systems. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
