OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish to each of his employees a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to excessive heat: On or about August 17, 2018 and at times prior thereto, laborers performing the task of concrete finishing work at a parking lot construction jobsite were exposed to excessive heat conditions.
